In fact, they could easily be accessed by heading over to the Albums tab and visiting the Hidden Album folder. So anyone having access to your unlocked device could get a hold of all your hidden clicks without any issue as such. However, with the latest iOS14 update, Apple seems to have taken note of this, and has addressed this issue up to a great extent. While that’s great, but not without flaws. The thing is that this Hidden Album will always be always available in the image picker. It scores on the ease of usability considering we could easily access all our hidden images as and when required.
But unfortunately, some might argue that it destroys the whole Privacy thing, and we cannot blame them either. Until and unless Apple introduces the ability to hide these images under a Passcode, this might not come across as a privacy-centric feature. Anyways, with that said, here are the required instructions to hide your hidden photos gallery on your iPhone.
Steps to Follow
- Launch the Settings menu on your iPhone device.
- Scroll to the Photos section and tap on it.
- Finally, simply disable the Hidden Album toggle.

On that note, that was all the required steps. As already mentioned, even this features suffer from a drawback.
