For example, Google has dropped support for the ability to control the cast devices’ volume using the volume keys on your phone running Android 12. Step 1: Take a Complete Backup of Your Phone
You might lose all data on your phone. And therefore, it is highly recommended that you take a full backup of your phone and then proceed to the next step. The best and safest way is to use Google Drive and Google Photos for storing backups. You can also use other could backup platforms like Mega, Dropbox, etc.

Step 2: Root Your Android Phone
Your Android 13 phone should be rooted via Magisk to install the Xposed Framework. Use this guide, if you don’t know how to root your phone using Magisk.

Step 3: Download and Install LSPosed and Riru Modules
These two modules are required to be installed on the Android device to reach the next stage. Grab the files using the download links below.
- LSPosed Module – Download Link (GitHub)
- Riru Module – Download Link (GitHub)
On the GitHub download page of LSPosed, you’ll see two files – one is the Zygisk version and the other one is the RIRU version. If you’ve enabled Zygisk in Magisk, download the Zygisk version, otherwise grab the RIRU build. You can go to Magisk > Settings to check if Zygisk is enabled or not.
Here’s how to install both the modules using Magisk:
- Open the Magisk app on your Android phone.
- Go to the Modules section.
- Click Install from storage and select the Riru module.
- After the module is installed, tap the Reboot button.
- Repeat the same steps to install the LSPosed module.
Step 4: Install LSPosed Manager App

- Open the LSPosed Module ZIP file that you just downloaded.
- Click on the manager.apk file.
- Tap on the Install button.
If you have never installed an app from the File Manager, you’ll have to allow the File Manager app to install applications from unknown sources.
Step 5: Install Xposed Framework Modules
We’ll use LSPosed Manager to download, enable, and disable the modules that we want.
- Open the LSPosed Manager app.
- Go to the Repository section.
- Select the desired module you want to install.
- Go to the Release tab.
- Click on the upload icon next to Asset.
- Tap on Install.
- After the module is installed, go to the Modules section.
- Tap on the Module that you just installed and enable it.
How to Disable Any Xposed Framework Module
In case you don’t want a module to run on your phone, you can disable a particular module. Here’s how to do it:
- Open the LSPosed Manager app.
- Go to the Modules section.
- Select the module you want to disable.
- Tap on the toggle to disable the module.
How to Uninstall Xposed Framework
- Open the Magisk app.
- Go to the Modules section.
- To disable the Xposed Framework, turn off the toggle next to Riru and LSPosed.
- To completely remove the Xposed Framework, click on the Remove button on Riru and LSPosed.
- Reboot your phone.
