Microsoft Teams is the default application that many company employees opt for when they are currently working in this work-from-home scenario. To add someone to a Microsoft Teams team, the person needs to accept the invite via email or get imported from a Microsoft 365 group. One can even add a person directly from the active directory services.

For a person to even join a Microsoft Teams team, he/she needs to sign in to Microsoft Teams. Until they sign in with their account, they can’t be a functional part of a team. When an account is first created in Microsoft Teams, an appropriate license is allotted to them, and when they sign with their login credentials following that, they become part of a team. So it is relatively simple to join a team in Microsoft Teams. But how do you leave a team in Microsoft Teams? That is what we will see here in this article.
