Caits will give your units significantly more EXP than normal (or even elite) monsters, which is why you’d want to defeat these Caits whenever you see them. You should also consider farming EXP nuts and hunting elite monsters for extra EXP – but note that these two methods won’t give you as much EXP compared to simply farming Caits.
Method #1: Ad Cait Farming (Best Method)
Your Ad Caits can be accessed by clicking on the “Find” icon on your Main Screen: On your “Find” Page, you will see a “Defeat Crafty Cait” icon on the left side of the screen. Click on it to reveal the “Defeat Crafty Cait” Page. And voila — you can now farm Ad Caits three times every day for tons of EXP. Though before you can battle each of the three Ad Caits you get per day, you must first watch one ad in its entirety per Ad Cait — hence the name. There are also different kinds of Caits that you can encounter through this mechanic. Here’s the probability of encountering each of them per level: TIP: The encounter probability is calculated based on the highest-leveled unit you have. It’ll be worth it to focus-feed all of your EXP Nuts on one unit after you get your entire party to Level 20 at least — just so you won’t struggle as a beginner.
Method #2: Wild Cait Farming
Wild Caits have no set locations, and they are spawned randomly. But just like Ad Caits, they give you loads of EXP when defeated. Always battle them whenever you see one in your minimap! TIP: All Caits are damaged based on hit count — not offensive stats. Using normal attacks and Boosting them is preferable if you want to Break and defeat them faster.
Method #3: EXP Nut Farming
Farming EXP Nuts and feeding them to your units is another viable method you can use to level up faster — though not to the same extent as the first two methods we’ve already discussed. You can farm EXP Nuts mainly by doing:
Main Story Quests Side Story Quests Traveler Story Quests Nut Farm Harvests (Nameless Town) Daily Tasks
TIP: You can unlock the Nut Farm by progressing through your Nameless Town Side Story Quests. The Nut Farm will allow you to collect EXP Nuts from your town, which is very useful — especially in the late game. Try to unlock it ASAP!
Method #4: Elite Monster Farming
Farming elite monsters is another viable alternative when it comes to hunting Caits to gain EXP faster. It might not be as effective as the other methods, but hunting elite monsters (especially the ones in Hunts) will provide you with decent EXP gain in the long run. TIP: You also get equipment crafting materials by defeating elite monsters, so make sure you do it every day if you want more equipment.
